Roasting coffee

Roasting coffee

The photo is just before I stopped the roast at about a City roast. It came out a little lighter than I intended, but I'll let you know how it turned out tomorrow.

[edit] It is really good! A very musky earthy flavor. If you were to compare it to wine, it would be like a huge, full bodied red, like maybe a tempranillo. I would actually call the finished roast a Full City, because it was just into second crack. I was fooled by the color, but this bean doesn't get as dark as others at the same degree of roast.
