Tonight we got a babysitter (thanks Kelly) and went out on a date! We saw the latest Star Wars movie and then had dinner at a new restaurant. So we had a good time, but there were a few hitches. The movie was good, although a little depressing. And there was a crazy guy in the theater that kept talking to himself and walking around. That kind of freaked us out, and Chanda snuck out when the guy stopped blocking the exit, and complained to the manager. The guy left on his own before they could do anything. On the way out, we got to walk above a band that was playing on the street below (the photo). Then, the escalator we wanted to go down was broken, so we had to walk down the up (which was luckily stopped.)
Then on to the restaurant. Everything was quite nice except the corn and crab fritters I ordered for an appetizer. They were slightly burned, and I had just told Chanda this when our waitress asked us how everything was. Well, I never send food back, but I couldn't say everything was fine right after I had complained. So they took back the fritters and the manager came over and apologised and brought me a new batch which was only slightly less burned than the first one. But they were very nice. Then when we got home, we had received a message that Chanda had forgotten her credit card. So I had to run back down there and get it. So a bit of a hectic evening, but at least we got to go out together!
